If you are thinking of getting it slabbed, what DOES show in the pics is you would be wasting your money b/c it could not grade high enough to cover grading costs.

there are a plethora of scratches across the obverse and the rims. you are looking at an AU possibly details coin that has a value of about $1.25. most collectors that slab their coins agree that a coin should have a value of at least $100 to spend the $$ for professional grading.

Grading could easily be $20-$40 per coin. I would not send anything off for grading unless the coin is worth at least $250 (I learned that lesson the hard way).

From the photos I would say it is a nice example for an album, but not one I would send in to be graded. I do not see where the OP suggested this was one they wanted to send in, just looking for the grade.
