I've sent this to Cudsoncoins hoping the pictures are in focus well enough. I would like help from CCF to give me ideas what to do so pictures won't show up out of focus. Mostly with the new/bright red Lincoln's I'm having the problem. Maybe some different lighting or light diffusing ideas. Maybe what do you use? Thank you for helping. Just practice with different light sources. The die crack pics look fine. Just straighten the 3rd picture upright.

Thanks MOS. It's weird that has happened once before here in CCF to me. All pictures were correct angle but when they get posted it flipped it ? Don't know why thought.

Taking pictures of coins in general, is not easy. Posting them here is twice as difficult. It just takes practice. Between you and me, it probably helps to keep the riff raff away and motivates us true collectors to stay.

Quote: All pictures were correct angle but when they get posted it flipped it ? Not saying that this was necessarily the case for you, but when folks use their smart phone's camera to take pics, the orientation of the phone can change the orientation of the resulting pic on CCF. Of course, you wan also click the "preview" link if you want to confirm that everything is going to come out straight before posting.

Thanks. I always check Preview and saw it sideways and just figured that's the way it's got to be. So if it happens again I should delete all pictures and try again? You're right I do use iPhone to take the pictures. If it does happen again is there something I can do to fix? Just wondering what I'm doing wrong. Most of the pictures come out correct.

Thanks Spence. I'll try to keep an eye on what I'm doing different /wrong but I don't move the phone or settings on it. I use a microscope for the closeups (maybe) when I change magnification on scope to get the shot at rim.
