I have this serial number 00000322 and I'd to hear you chime in on if it's really worth anything over $1.

There's not really anything else to be said for it folks, but I like to follow the rules so here it is:

Thanks! I'm going to keep it anyway because I found it in my till on my last day at my old job and it's definitely the lowest number I've ever found.

Actually, followup question: Is there a legitimate website you (any of you fine people) recommend for searching serial numbers to learn more about them? I learn a lot here scrolling through articles here, but it would be fun to searchmy own bills as well. Please and thank you for the advice!

Thank you!

I appreciate the links as well. I can use Google just as well as the next guy, but when people can say whatever they want on the internet, recommendations have a lot more value.

I learned another one of my sentimental bills is a repeater, so just for fun:

Even better...its a repeater star note. I don't collect them, but lots of people are into this sort of thing.

Those notes are cool, and even better that you find them in circulation.

Hello and welcome to the CCF.

I like the low Serial Number the best, over the repeater.

Congrats on being a good Google searcher.

I would recommend looking at the sold items on EBay to get an approximate value for your note.

I found a $1 note with serial number 371 that sold for $32.

Nice find for the wild!

Ha ha, that's congrats made me chuckle, Snoopy.

You make a good point. I just tired of seeing so many EXTREMELY RARE ONES OF A KIND VDB PENNIES FOR THE AMAZING LOW PRICE OF $50,000!

It can get you down knowing that your VDB isn't as special as all the eBay ones.
