Hi everyone, newbie here. I'll go add myself to the correct forum after I sleep as I've been up all night trying to find details about this exact same coin I've just bought. Sure is a hard one to find!

So I'm really happy to find it on a forum that also looks awesome to join as I've been coin collecting for many years in the range of roman to modern, silver, gold to plain old CU commemoratives.

I'm waiting for the coin to arrive and will do an acid test, measurement, weight ect and get back here to report after that.

Thank you jbuck! I've just woke up, 4pm here in England LOL but I prefer the night life as I get left alone to do things without interruptions.

It was like that for me 30 years ago when the work I did at the time allowed it.

Mystery solved.. It's brass and a fantasy coin. Not sure who made them but possibly a Chinese medal.
