These are pretty common if you know to look for them. The mint mark position is a good one to memorize to know when to look at the motto for the doubling, plus they have a series of lathe lines or similar across the motto. This one is later die stage, but the early die stages show them really well.

Only had time to look at two rolls tonight, but found a bunch of things in them. Three 1944 DDRs all different, one 1944 DDO strong class VI and unlisted anywhere, this 1954 S DDO-001 and two 1954 S/S RPM-002 coins. But had a long day and gotta get sleeeeep.

nice one tripicalbats

if it were not for the doubling on the "R" and "S" in TRUST, I would have probably tossed it.

Very nice DDO.

Man, I was hoping I wasn't gonna be the one to bring this up because you must have been tired. The description above the obverse image needs a little TLC.

Thanks for the kind words! And Pete you are correct, tired. Still tired. Just too much going on and trying to still take a few pics of some things to post and was apparently incapable of even getting the date right. Can't fix it now after 24 hours but I don't think anyone is going to miss the date on the coin so all good.

Still haven't slept much so should be interesting to see what I can botch tonight! Kinda like the game where you see who can find the first spelling error on a restaurant menu (what, you haven't tried that?). Anyway, I appreciate it when errors in posts are pointed out as I'd rather fix them than leave them.
