Obverse die is late die state. Reverse is mid die state.

Planchet, as mentioned, is of the woodie variety - striations in the planchet from poor mix of metal.


Cheek and jaw have some hits.

I'm at MS-61 RB. I agree with the die state analysis. There are contact marks on the reverse, too. The heaviest are between EPU and ONE and beneath the "ICA" of AMERICA. The corrosion spots on the obverse may become an issue over time.
