I have one of these also found it in a roll from the bank. The only information I found was when I searched the Denver mint web site. I said it was an error coin and thats all it said. On utube it has a video of a person burning off the copper which leaves the coin unevenly burnt, my coin has not been burt and it doesent stick to a magnet.Recommendation are to send it in to be graded which I plan on doing.

higher chance that it has been plated rather than the copper plating being removed, or it being a mint error

I see your cent from the earlier post, without better pictures of both side, I can only speculate that you may have a cent struck on a clad dime planchet, or someone experimental project. Take your coin to a local coin dealer and inquire what you may have if one's is near you.
