Need help guys.This 1972-S Penny looked off at 1st glance.
Lincolns head looked like it got "shot"
Could this be a DDO-001.

Looks like his ear and the date have just taken well placed hits - so just damage.

EDIT: As far as DDO-001 someone else should be able to answer that

Looks like part of his ear has been ripped off displacing the metal in a horizontal manner. Also seeing a lot of heavy contact marks through out the coin. IMHO

The mint mark is not close enough to the 7, nor does the coin appear to be a proof, so can't be DDO-001.
