I don't believe that it is against eBay rules to ask inflated prices, provided that the item is as described. Correct me if I am wrong.

It isn't a legal issue, its an ethical issue.

They say the coin is PGSS66 I think I will ask what happened to the slab. We have to mess with these people. Let them know we are not stupid.

The seller could be a candidate for inclusion in eBay's Mount Rushmore of over-the-top coin selling.

They've also listed a Susan B Anthony dollar 18-coin set in a Dansco album, but there are no photos of the album, just pictures of two or three SBA dollars. I imagine this seller hasn't a clue what a Dansco album is, and just copied someone else's listing. Perhaps someone should ask them for details and photos of the album? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Susan-B-An...154355676484

It brings back memories of the 200 year old safe. At least that guy had a good camera.
What he didn't have was bs's gift for prose. It rivals Shakspeare. Here's a collection of his memorable descriptions: This coin is a lovely part of our history. Beautiful lightly struck mint errors special and rare this is a bicentennial quarter with the 76-76 it is rar BEAUTIFUL COIN WITH A LOVELY HORSE AND RIDER SOME I HAVE PURCHASED BUT MOST I MADE MYSELF Brand New
After reading a few of these, my finger is itching to hit the BIN button.
I agree with you ijn. bs is truly a rara avis among eBay sellers.

Quote: I don't believe that it is against eBay rules to ask inflated prices, provided that the item is as described. Even if the item isn't correctly described, I don't know how to report it. I tried reporting a listing of a coin described as an "error", which wasn't. The drop-down box to state why a description is inappropriate only has two options - "Profanity, Obscenity & Vulgar Language" or "Publish Contact Information", neither of which apply. I just want to tell eBay that the item is incorrectly described in the title of the listing...

So, the seller knows who Susan B. Anthony is, but does not know who "the man" is on the nickel?

I asked him why it is listed as PCGS66 when it is not in a PCGS slab. His reply, "NOT IMPORTANT". I did report it to ebay as a fraudulent listing. I wish you could actually just tell them what the issue is instead of having to select from their list.

154339231216 154339089238 154330834977these 3 can be removed for a false claim of "PCGS66" there are special ways to report coin listings not available to the public (that's all I am saying)
