Hi all,
Received this today. Really happy with it to be honest. Obverse is much better than reverse, reverse has very small wear. I've compared it to AU58s and it is surely higher as the detail on the dragons scales and specifically the dragons tail end are excellent. Weight is 26.95g
Does it make MS60 or higher?

Thanks everyone. To be honest I overpaid at 140. It looked to be a higher grade, but AU58 isn't too bad, and I'll keep it as my first Japanese Yen from the period.

It is still a beautiful coin! Sometimes it seems like a slippery slope from 58-61. You can still enjoy the sharp details of the design on this gorgeous coin!

Very nice! Glad to hear it turned out well! Was a little higher than I expected but I'm not overly familiar with this series. Attractive coin for sure!

AU-58 seems correct as there are signs of some circulation.
