I like retained laminations they remove any possibility of it being misattributed as a Struck Through Grease.

Cheers, Bill

In my opinion is cracked planchet. The delams are produce on the begin of the roll and has a linear form where the cubic crystals of the cooper alloy alonge. The crack on the roll plachet is produce at the end of the roll where the agglomeration of the crystal will explode and form the cracks on irregular forms.

On the leaf of the coin we see clear missing material, characteristic to cracks, delams doo not has this in cooper alloys. Also we see the molecular structure is 90 deg from the line of the crack. Also the lower missing part of the leaf expand at south in three small others cracks. Close look show well.

From my prospectus it is a nice coins, not often see for those years.
