Can anyone please help me on identifying this bill? I can't find anything on this particular color with the seal and serial numbers. Any information would be awesome thank you

they were all printed using red ink---must have faded---

Not faded, but chemically altered. Common "apparent error" in the old days.

It's very faded, a tell-tale sign.

The note has a severely faded seal and serial numbers. It's supposed to look like this.

I always heard that some dry cleaning chemical solutions can alter the red ink on US notes. Lord knows I've seen enough of them over the past 60 years.

Whether that's true or not I don't know.
