I am sure this is PMD from a punch or a well centered shot from a pellet gun. My colleague thinks its a blow out. He just wants to argue, and I want a Jefferson Half Dollar for being correct. Sorry for your lost time over this. I do thank your time.

ETA: It does look like a woody though, so if he's just arguing it's an error coin, you may be in trouble.

LOL I'm winning this bet. He is arguing blow out. I say a well aimed shot from a pellet gun. The mark at the top of his head looks like a pellet. The pellet gun used may not have a riffled barrel, and that would cause the pellet to tumble end over end causing the round to lose velocity and trajectory. I will let him know it does look like a woody, but a damaged one.

@JohnH he is probably referring to a Fisher or perforation aka blow hole.

I dont think I'm gonna get rich off a Franklin, but it's a proof, I like it, and it was a bet.
