Looking for info on this token or coin Has the words in hoc signo vinces. Appears to be silver and brass. Back has writing but its faded

The legend IN HOC SIGNO VINCES around a cross is often found on the reverse of Portuguese coins of the 16th to 19th centuries.

SO, if it is actually a coin, this could be an option.

But silver and brass does not sound like a real coin. Sounds like a plated replica of something ...
