Is this is what is called a wide america? I found it in a pile of pennys I was looking in for wheat pennys. I'm new to coins but my friend said it looked like one and he put it in a plastic pouch but I'm not sure what he is talking about and he ain't no expert. No idea what he means but he said to ask on this website. Thanks you.

to CCF. Very nice find in a pile of penny's! Definitely a Wide AM as it is most commonly referred to. Here is a link for you to learn the different years associated with Wide AM's. Hope it helps.
