It would be nice if one of the reverses is the original Fraser reverse! I'd love to see it in circulation as a complete commemoration!

Can say that I'm really not a fan of the proposed obverse. It's pretty ugly IMO

I've always been a fan of this design. Hope they proceed with its use. Thanks for the update.

Kinda hoping they stick with the 1932 obverse

Some good news related to this topic. In the Mint's press release, they note the Fraser design will grace the obverse of the quarter for the American Women Quarters program.

So, after 90 years, this design (the obverse, anyway) will finally be placed into circulation.

On the Mint's Twitter feed, they posted a picture of the obverse. The one noticeable change is the mintmark below the date, as it appeared in the commemorative 1999-W Half Eagle that bore Fraser's design.

I'd be quite happy with that obverse design, especially comparing to the others on the list of submitted designs. After the $5 gold commemorative came out, I recall thinking at the time that should have been the one chosen originally back in 1932...

As much as I like the current obverse, I think the proposed obverse will be a very interesting change, if only for a few years. I just hope that the reverse designs are done equally as well, not like some of the poor design work that was done in previous quarter programs. I'm looking forward to getting the silver proofs of these quarters.

I never really cared for the Fraser design either. If you're going to have Washington on a quarter series honoring famous women, how about the other Washington? Put Martha on the obverse.
