Not sure where I would put this one. I would guess an au58 without details. But I do see numerous details on the obverse. Artificial toning, gouge on obverse across cheek extending to the nose and ding on rim just below the date. Reverse looks like an easy au58. Comments? Given all the problems, I really don't know where to put this one. The coin appears dark but it really is this dark in hand.

I'm not convinced it's artificial toning. I'd say AU-53, and if that's rim damage and not a small rim cud, possibly details.

That scratch on the cheek is a grade killer - with that said, looks to be natural toning and no more than AU53
