Looks pretty good for what it is, the obverse is quite strong for only being on a G details coin. Personally I would have gone for a cleaned one as apposed to a corroded one, but then again, it's not like there is enough to be picky I suppose. Very cool nonetheless.

There are nice coins and then there are cool coins. This is a cool coin.

The corrosion makes it unattractive to people that spend a lot to get a nice coin. I have a lot of coins like this. They're not for investors, just collectors.

Very nice pickup! The corrosion wouldn't bother me. It's a solid example and plenty of detail left as well.

Thanks guys I'm putting a set together from 1794-1857. The 1793,1799, and 1804 are a little to expense for me. So I'm putting a custom set together.

This is a great looking example, and despite the corrosion I think it looks great to the eye and sounds like a pretty reasonable price. Nice pickup!

What would it cost to have PCGS conserve it? Would that help any? I like it as-is, but just wondering.

The corrosion is evenly granular. Eye appeal is still very nice. A very nice example appropriately graded.

Congratulations - I like it. I've bought several of these but you need to break it out of the slab to hug it. That's the best part!
