Good Morning Everyone,

I was wondering if I could receive the communities help on identifying this coin? At first I thought someone just pressed the image in a cheap piece of metal but I'm not sure. It also is completely reeded around the coin.

Thanks everyone for your help and hope all is well!
Josh

That is one thin dime!

Your post was moved to the appropriate forum for the proper attention.

I look forward to the commentary on this one.

Maybe is a clad layer dime, missing its core, either way that's a cool error.
I would have that check out further, and perhaps send to PCGS or NGC.

Well it is a post 1980's dime as it has a 'P' mintmark on it. But with out the copper cladding, it might be a strike on a split off part of a planchet with out the cladding. With both obverse and reverse, the copper layer would not be present at all. Should probably Call Mike Diamond on this one?

to the CCF!

Wow! This looks to be struck on a detached copronickel clad layer! Very cool coin!
