1962 Ben Franklin half dollar and 1987-S Kennedy half dollar should I get them graded?

I wouldn't waste the money on grading, the top one is bullion melt value the bottom one is an improperly handled proof. Neither are worth much money, certainly a lot less than even the cheapest grading fees and shipping + insurance.

Cool finds for sure, but not at all worth the cost of grading.

Absolutely not. Do you realize the cost of certification? Ten times the value of these coins.

You can grade them yourself: AU50 for the 1962-D Franklin and PR55 for the Kennedy.

Nice roll finds though.

In a word : No . The Franklin half is worth about 8$-$9 , as sliver melt in that condition , and the Proof half is an impaired proof worth : $1-$1.50 .

Always nice to find a Franklin and proof in a roll. The others have answered the question on grading. Unless it's of your personal decision, consider that these sell for less in the mid-mint state grades. Glad you asked first, none the less.
