If you made a diffuser, you could remove some of the hard while light. (That makes glare on the edge of devices when the light is at too low of an angle for the shot taken. What is your light source? Sometimes even the less expensive things can help remove glare:

My light source was natural light on all of them. The 2 that looks like there is a glare making the lettering white, those were cropped and enhanced by turning the sharpness up to focus making it slightly better to see. None were taken with the flash on.

Just can't see damage or error making this. Good find to stump so many who have looked at so many coins. Hope it turns out to be something rare and interesting.
