Just curious if anyone thinks this coin has cameo possibilities--as I'm totally unfamiliar with that distinction. Also, what grade possibilities do you think this has? There are no marks on it, those are from the slab.

Ok, that image was from the scanner--here are some pics from the dig. camera.. I've got a 63 ultra cam (still don't know what "ultra" means), and it's not quite as deep of a mirror as that--but it's got mirrorlike fields.

Hi Realtor

The glare from the lighting is hiding the contrast on the coin so I cant say if it will go Cam or not and it takes a minimum of 2 views obverse and Reverse to estimate grade.

Hi Realtor

Very pretty SMS,, My opinion of the grade is MS-67,, The coin does not in my opinion show as a cam at least in the pics,, this could be totally different with the coin in hand.

But the mirrors look matte in the pics, and the contrast between them and the devices is very minimal.

Right on, Metalman! Thanks for the input, it's an MS-67 RD (NGC).
