Hello, I bought an album for Canadian 10 cents 1858- present and Canada 25 cents 1870- present and these albums look very familiar, but I've searched the entire internet and couldn't find a match. Does anyone know what these are?

@and, I have no experience with these, but I do note that they have come up in several prior CCF threads. You can find them if you use the keywords VISTA and CANADA in the search box at the top of your screen. Here is one to get you started, although it looks like many of the links are now broken:

I think that they are Harco Coinmaster. There were also some made by Unisafe, but they had their monogram on the lower right cover. The Harco album are inside at the back on the binding.

That was very popular at one point. Handle it carefully as I have seen many used ones with the covers starting to tear off.

Some of these older albums had PVC in the plastic pages, which can ruin coins stored for the long term.

I used them and still do think mine came from uni trade , but there are differences Smallcentguy is right on the older albums , I have bought or ended up with some and the older ones have the screw type binding the newer has a plastic snap fit [crappy] binding lock system. Yours is the older screw style be wary on the pages I had old one turn coins green, verdigis from pvc. I did like that you could with some skill design your own pages to add varietys or types and descriptions , I am a fan for the storage compact style and being able to tailor the album to suite your needs , all be it with some editing skills. I set up a virtual album in word doc to go back and edit or add a coin and or value grade etc.
Side note the little edit program you will find necessary there are errors in the original ,I tried to complete a 50cent album had a really difficult time finding a decent 1915piece , try and find one. Good luck enjoy them.

Beware!!!!
I had Lincoln cents in one of these about 30 years ago and it had PVC. Maybe they have changed the plastic but my Lincoln's got slimed.

Originally made by Harco Coinmaster - mostly PVC. As mentioned PVC will ruin the coins.

Vista acquired the license to make them. I do not know if they used PVC as I never used one branded by Vista. Do the pages smell like a shower curtain? If yes, then PVC is present.

Uni-Trade either bought Harco or acquired their tech. They claim to be PVC free. My experience is with the large cent album. UNC large cents were very difficult to put in the slots. Circ cents went in OK. Note: this was prior to 2001 when I decided to go with PCGS slabs.

Apparently the pages are made of PVCA according to the Unitrade web page.

Smelling a shower curtain could be quite a risk--depending on how long it's been up. All that organic crud and soap/shampoo accretions.
