I cherrypicked this today out of a bag of inexpensive, unattributed Roman bronzes. It immediately stood out for its heft, in the style of Greek coinage (about 18 mm in diameter, but almost 5 grams in weight).

I'm confident that it was struck in Philippopolis, and I believe the personification on the reverse to be Homonoia (Concordia). I'm thinking it's an issue of Marcus Aurelius.

I think you may be reasonably close with your attribution.
Have a look at
Wildwinds Thrace Philippolis Marcus Aurelius Moushmov 5144 (AE24) and Moushmov 5112 (AE18).

I found them by Google search:-
"ancient coin philippolis"

I have found that if you able to attribute ancient bronze coins that you have bought 'on the cheap', you double their value, just by attributing them accurately.

With a bit of teamwork let hope we are near to correct!

In doing a bit more research, I'm now inclined toward its being an issue of Commodus, either Moushmov 5209 or 5211.

Found a Commodus being offered on eBay that looks as if it might be a match to my specimen.

See: https://www.ebay.com/itm/293441547627

For future reference (once this eBay listing has gone away), the attributions cited are: RPC IV.1,7567 (temp); Moushmov Philippopolis 217-9 and 221.
