@wheat, first welcome to CCF. Second, with the matching damage on the letter B, I'm thinking that the letter E also is mis-shapen due to a hit (not a mint error).

Thanks for the welcome! I have been reading several posts since joining and finally thought I would toss one a question out!

I don't know about this one. I would think if it were a hit, I would see damage under where the E is supposed to be. It appears to have a hit of course but the exact part that would finish the E is directly next to it.

May be right but that's why I put it up. To find out what you all thought.

I doubt that it is a coincidence the obvious damage is in the proximity of the E. For that reason, high likelihood just odd looking PMD.

Weight? Also what does the other side of the coin look like just opposite that?

PLEASE no monitor screen shots! It is always best to use your camera directly to the coin with photographing it. Even older pone cameras can zoom in. Thanks.
