Need a second (or multiple) opinion here. It looks like a DDO, possibly a class III. But I know that proofs are struck multiple times. So is this a case of the one of the strikes being off centered or could this be a true DDO? If it is, should I send it to Wexler (it's not listed on the website).

Thanks for looking and happy searching!

Not sure why it's uploading the obverse and reverse of the wrong coin.

I was thinking it might be LDS but I wasn't sure if that was possible with a proof. I didn't think they used proof dies to the point that it would become that deteriorated.

I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. But I looked up a video on YouTube on how to take pics of coins. The trick is to point the light at the wall not ON the coin. I also have a cheap USB microscope that I used to take the close up photos. Again, where your light source is pointed is key. Also, I put a paper towel over my LED lamp to diffuse the light. Hope that helps.

Can you explain what makes you think this is a case of MD? Because, to me, the doubling doesn't look flat and shelf-like. Also I see notching on LibertY, IGWT, and in the pic with the arrow pointing to the bottom of Washington's neck. I'm genuinely curious. Please don't take it any other way.
