@ash, as you seem to be asking about the grade rather than an error or variety, I'm going to move this thread to a different subforum.

It definitely is a keeper but the grade is too low to get it certified unless you want to. I would approximate the grade at a F-12/15 or so.

Grade looks to be VG or perhaps Fine, but not in especially choice condition.

Would you really want to spend upwards of $50 to certify a $2 coin?

Keep the coin, but it's definitely not worth sending to a third-party grading service ( TPG).

@T-bob yes I do have a lot to learn, hence why I am asking for help on the forum. Thanks for the websites, now I have something to go off of.

@IndianGoldEagle - obviously I didn't know it was only worth $2 and would cost $50 to send in. I originally came on this site to get information, can't get just straight answers online. Talking to real people instead of reading crap anyone can write is more useful. Seems to be a lot of jerks on here who are "Kno it all's" and just stomp and kick on us newbies who are just trying to learn it all. It's not something you just learn overnight! You started off a newbie at some point of your coin collecting career so please remember where u came from and stop with the TUDE! Ok thanks &

@halfamind Thanks, nice and simple answer. Appreciate that!

you will always get straight answers here. in almost all cases you dont want to spend the $$ for grading unless the coin has a value of $150 or more. since your coin is F details and doesn't have much value it would not warrant it.

hope that helps
