My second collar clash now(not as good as my first but a keeper I think. It would be nice to find a decent die clash.

The lighting on the full images needs help. The light needs to be over center more, diffused to reduced glare (which the lighting is a shade too bright, but difussing the light will reduce the strength. Your micro image is perfect. So you might need a different setup for you full images shots. Need a suggestion?

This thread shows how I use a different setup for the full images and how to the color of the coin better. Take a look and see. The setup costs little to create better images in your own home setting.

@coop, thanks I'll have to make a setup on my coin desk, I got my microscope yesterday but have yet to try it. These pictures were taken outside on my knee lol, so hard to filter the light properly, that threat is very helpful though thank you.

Despite the jitters from your knee, this one is a nice collar clash. Nice find!

@coop, the microscope I was gifted for my birthday works great, it seems to filter the light really well it self. It's an ANNLOV digital microscope.

It seems to me that a collar clash occurs more often on dimes than any other coin. Could this be because of its tiny size?

@Dearborn, I've noticed this as well. It seems American dimes are the most common for collar clash. I'd still love another example posted of a double collar clash since iv yet to see another one.

@coinfrog, the images are about to get much better from my posts with this new microscope. I'll try and get some pictures of the screen, but I can easily tell my blunt and pointed 5 coins now as well as A to denticle as long as the A isn't to banged up lol. This scope I got for my birthday is awesome. I'm seeing MD I never saw before and die cracks and gouges etc. I'm on a whole new journey now that I can see my coins lol.
