I was looking at my change and this one jumped out at me. Look how dark and crisp the green and black seals are, and all four of the "4"'s are. Seems too crisp and bold to be just bleed through and too perfectly aligned to be ink pick up. Am I holding something weird or just a normal bleed through?

Possible offset but as noted, we will need to see a complete photo
of both sides of the bill.

I'll try. The post limit makes it hard to get the whole bill.

Thanks and welcome to CCF.
It's an inverted overprint error, minus the serial numbers, but would need in-hand inspection to determine if it's genuine and not spurious. Sometimes the overprint error is right side up and sometimes it's inverted (upside down). Most of the times it will include the serial numbers, but not always.

Wait a minute. I took a second look and failed to see it's got a complete overprint also on the front. I've never seen that before. It's definitely gonna need a closer inspection to determine if it's real.

Interesting! I'll take it to my local nusmesmatic shop and see what they say. Thanks so much for the instruction.

Hello all! I took my bill to the money guys here in town and I knew it was actually an interesting bill when the younger guy says "We should put this in a sleeve!" He checked it out and then called in Jeff the boss to check it out. Jeff told me it is not a bleed through but an actual misprint and a very nice one. He told me that he's not seen one like this. Some how they actually printed, on the wrong side, in reverse. It is not lift off from a second bill and not bleed through. He told me that he has seen similar misprinted bills valued at $40 to $50, but wasn't sure what to value this one at. That's okay, I didn't want to sell it, it's too cool. Thanks everyone for the advice!
