Hi all,
Im new to the Coin World and have recently inherited some of my late fathers coin collections. I've done some research and I was wondering if youll could help me out and let me know if I should have these 3 graded or not. They are in better shape than the rest and I am going to sell them at some point to help settle some estate affairs. Seems graded are worth more but I'm not sure if there condition would be worth it. Anyways thank you and if this post isn't allowed I appologize..

The two Morgans are common dates, worth maybe $35 each. The 1921 Peace is somewhat more valuable, maybe $80 at a guess. It would not be worth spending grading fees on any of these coins, IMO.

1880S- I'd say a nice eye appeal VF20. Not worth grading, but would make a nice album coin.

1878- Fine Details, ED

1921- not sure what others are seeing, but it looks VF to me, maybe VF25. Value wise, $175-$200 based on current, IMO, inflated Peace dollar values.

Decent looking coins. Now would be a good time to sell the 1921-S Peace dollar. Prices are irrationally high at the moment.

These coins wouldn't justify the $40+ each on grading fees. So, your best bet is to sell the coins raw, or ungraded. These coins make good hole fillers in a collector's album. Good luck!

I think that if you had a 1921-S Peace dollar it would be worth millions.

The coins are all very attractive looking and your father had great feel for the eye appeal of coins from these examples you have shown.

. IMHO the only one worth grading is the 1921 no mint mark dollar. Here is an idea on values http://www.numismedia.com/rarecoinp...proof=&plus=
If you do have it slabbed,ANACS would cost the least.

I'd say. VF-35, F-15, F-15. The 1921 Peace dollars are in a huge price bubble right now so as some have mentioned you might get top dollar if you are interested in selling. Recommend EBAY not a dealer as the market is moving so fast none of the price guides can keep up.
