Can anyone tell me if they've ever seem this before? There's a 2ns S stamped at the bottom of Lincolns jacket I guess it is? Anyone else else see this and if so is it common?

Kind of just looks like contact marks to me, is it indented on the coin?

@Mzeek17, it would be hard to tell unless you can get the right lighting and really close. If they are contact marks there will be raised metal around them. Will check back to see what you find out:)

Just a contact mark. If it were a actual RPM, it would have been listed long time ago. It would be impposible for it to be a mintmark. That area of the die is below the fields. Thus if it were a mintmark, it would fully raised on the bust. Similar example on a different year:

Hits causing contact marks can push metal out and upwards.
