Your 69S is a business strike, not a proof with over 544 million struck.

Thanks!

So what's the difference between proof and business strikes and how can I tell if I find a proof?

It's easy to tell if a coin is a proof, a proof coin will have a reflective(mirrored as they say)surface, and a cameo finish.

1969 was the first year for a new master obverse hub.
