. Looks like you will need to put a filter over your light source. Photo also looks a bit blurry. As to a full coin pic,you may need to put the scope on top of a pile of books until the coin is in focus. John1

to the CCF forum Fig! What you are seeing is a coin that was struck with a worn out die that struck too many coins. It's called Die Deterioration Doubling, or DDD for short.
