MS63 was my initial thought.

MS64 with a shot at 65. Very nice coin.

Quite a few tiny pockmarks on both sides which are somewhat distracting and hurt the eye appeal. Coin otherwise is a lustrous mint state piece. MS-63 IMO.

So like I said let's have some fun!

There wasn't a graded number given but rather GEM BU.

That being said, I think NGC considers Gem Bu a MS65, but I could be wrong.

For me Gem Bu is 65, superb gem is 67, choice BU is 63. This one looks 64 to me due to some tiny marks scattered in the obverse fields. Overall a good looking coin.

That is exactly how I feel, it's better than a 63 but not quite a 65. That's why I was a little confused because I graded this one a 64 as well but the general consensus is Gem Bu being 65.

The reverse is beautiful and the detail in liberty's hair is very sharp. Good luster with clear cartwheel effect.

Unfamiliar with a slab like this. I certainly don't think it implies a 65.

Signed by Wayne Miller in Sharpie is better than the CAC bean.

Gem BU means MS65 which is a generous grade but not out of line. Assuming the luster is all there I can see a 65 being in play.

Gem BU at NGC means "MS-65 or better". I personally wouldn't buy this one at 65 prices but I think it is at least 64+.

That's where I'm currently delayed in sending it off for grading. The 65 grade is worth a considerable amount more than the 64. I would be willing to send it if I were to get a 65.
