The first set of photos show what looks to be a significant scuff in the field to the left of the nose. That probably holds it to 64, but oddly it doesn't show up in the other photos. Can you get some better detail on that area? If that's clean might be 65.

The yellow circle indicates cracks in the case and not blemishes on the coin. The case is pretty beat up and the coin is mobile inside (only slightly), so that's another reason I questioned having it re-evaluated.

i think the coin is better than MS63. if you are going to hang onto it then I would just leave it where it is. its not a rare enough coin to warrant it. the coin has a good shot at MS65 but if it regraded at MS64 then it would not be worth the cost. its a risk you need to assess. sometimes the big 3 TPG's will run a special for grading multiple coins.

How about asking PCGS to reslab it and verify/regrade? Should be for free?

I would keep it in the original holder

Agree 100%. Not a ton of upside in the regrading, and those OG holders are desirable to some collectors.

This is what I would do. Old holders are getting a lot of attention. If it is a 65 (which I don't think it is), you would easily get a gold sticker. An old holder with a gold stick is worth much more.

How does one achieve to "cac it"?
