Ah, sorry, I just default to the grade when "sent to TPG" is mentioned. It will be interesting to see how they attribute it.

Thanks for the link Dave! This is what Mr. Fazzari at ICG had to say. "2021-S Morgan dollar struck thru grease. The blob is still in the depression on the coin with tiny particles of silver trapped in the grease."

You're very welcome Big-Kingdom. I spoke to Mr. Fazzari yesterday he told me he did a little article for Coin World Weekly something about it being the first major error reported?

And now the rest of the story.. Jbuck you nailed it! I didn't see it grading as MS70. This defiantly beats what I would have done, just throwing it in a drawer and forgetting about it. Thanks everyone for the comments.

Well that cinches it. I'm going to send mine in and see what happens It's going to PCGS. It will be a while since I'm waiting for my CC and O's to get out of the Mints shipping limbo.

Congrats on the grade, it is a nice looking coin. (I prefer PCGS myself though)

While ICG may be a bit optimistic at times I do like the shape of their plastic. I call it user friendly...
