I'm thinking some sort of gaming token but others will surely give a correct answer. A lot of knowledge on this forum.

BTW - It also helps if you post diameter and weight.

The musical instruments on one side suggest (IMHO) admission to a concert or vaudeville venue, or perhaps this token was used to play nickelodeons in an arcade. The devices are "stock images" -- in other words so generic as to make solid identification virtually impossible in the absence of any other clues.
