Found in a obw roll. It weights 2.914 g.

I can see rased letters on both sides.
I tried taking best pictures I could.

Did I find something Interesting or just a damaged penny

You got it, just a damaged Lincoln Wheat cent. Most likely a metal detecting find, causing the corrosion, dirt in the devices, and the green color.

Environmental damage, a once buried coin.

Weight is lower than mint target of 3.11g but still seems ok.

Almost looks like it could be a woody. Due to the damage on this coin maybe an acetone soak might reveal new details on it, or wash off that 'woody' appearance.

Damaged, and exposed to a corrosive environment (which may account for the low-end weight). Suggest soaking the coin in pure acetone for a day or two. There may be a woody in there.

Corrosion has taken it's toll and most likely eaten away some of the metal, that could contribute to loss of weight.

From a detectorists point of view I definitely agree with everyone else's observation...This coin was definitely buried at one time...
