A nice key date Indian Head cent. This is die pair #2 with details stronger in "OF AMERICA" on the obverse.

What do you grade?

MS62RB. That's quite a trio of divots in the left obverse field under the chin.

I vote 62.

The depressions in the obverse field really hurt it.

Could that be a planchet flaw? MS-62 is as good a guess as any.

That's the first thing I noticed on this coin . I'm going with planchet flaw , MS-65RB or 66 .

This seems cleaned, is it just me? The reverse is very nice. There is Longacre Doubling and that appears to be a strikethrough!

I'm gonna say it's a 64 with a strike through. Looks like Ricks pics. Is that where you got it ?

The reverse looks absolutely stunning. The obverse is not nearly as nice but it is still a choice mint state coin imo. MS64RB.

It was purchased by Rick Snow. And as mentioned above by a number of responses, there is a planchet flaw in the obverse. It really shows in the picture, but is less visible in hand or under a loop.

Grade revealed......PCGS MS63BN. I thought this looked good for a BN designated coin and while the planchet flaw is there, its overall look was better than most in this grade. Also, it did not get the Photoseal sticker from Rick, so the price was right!

If you look at some of the MS63s for this date, they are flat out ugly! Obviously some overgrazed coins, but this one I feel was spot on, and with 10-20% red remaining, it just made it a better buy for me.

Nice pickup. I was on the BN/RB fence and leaned towards RB. An even better deal at BN prices!
