I found this in my pocket change and thought it was strange. I have heard such things can be valuable. Can anyone tell me more about this? I dont even know where to begin. Thanks!

Interesting. I'd say an error - don't see how this could be PMD.

Normal coin for comparison - the apparent scratch or die crack in roughly the same place was a bit of fluff on the scanner:

Looks like a Die Chip or Die Break. Certainly not enough to add any great value to it
as there would probably be many more out there with the same Die Chip
