When it comes to collecting errors, experience is the best teacher. Trust me, every error collector has all been down that road, and I admire your optimism of taking that experience as a lesson learned.

My advice now, is to buy the error coin book, before the error coins. I think the 2nd Edition is already sold out, but I think Joe has a revised edition planned.
