1983 P No Ear Washington Struck Through Grease.

I got this one in a beat up NGC slab( not noted that it was a strike through). So I busted it out today so I could actually see it. It's struck through on both sides and has a two tone obverse. I think the grease may have stained the plan. Thanks for looking!

Would it be more accurate to call it gritty grease?

I was thinking underweight planchet as well, because the eagles feathers aren't struck up either. But the planchet weighs correctly...

After looking at the obverse dent (strike through?) It seems to line up with the breast of the bird on the reverse, which would explain why it look so full and no feathers ion it.
Is it possible that the coin just took a big hit from something that affected the reverse?
