I have a 1944 s Wheat penny with possibly errors from the mint. Can anybody take a look and tell me if there are any errors or not? Any help would be appreciated.

This appears to be a common, circulated 1944-S Wheat cent. Specificity is important when asking questions about errors or varieties, so we can give you specific answers.

@ds, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'd be interested in seeing a nice close up picture of LIBERTY. From this one overall pic, the width of the arms in the letter Y seems to be different, but I can't tell if that is doubling or just circulation flattening. Thx.

Always show us both sides of your coin, and one or two SHARP photos of areas of interest to you. And please be specific as to what you want to know. Thanks.

Contact marks on a coin is not an error it is damaged in circulation. Just a Wheat cent with contact marks.

Yes thank you everyone for the replies and thank you Spencer because that is what I'm looking at precisely. I'll upload a good close up of the reverse and I'll try to get closer to "LIBERTY" and upload that as well
