1934 BU Lincoln Help Grade ( A Form Of Bulls Eye Toning Gone Bad?)

Others on the forum say this can't be true but this started red in my Dansco album. I closed the book and put under my bed or in my dresser drawer at times one or the other. Obviously not smart and surly not the way to properly store them. The center of the coin still looks good. LOL

To me this is MS details (environmental damage) - others will disagree.

i think its just the lighting making it look that way. a little too much light on this one. based on the photos MS65RB possibly MS66RB

In my experience, for some unknown reason, 1934's seem to easily tone. I think there was something off about the alloy composition combined with some odd striking pressures (they seem soft to me).

BadThad will be able to show us in a week. If anything the light doesn't show the bullseye toning well enough.
