Besides being a BIE ,is this some doubling on the date , liberty and IN GOD WE TRUST. Heck, I want to submit because the coin is so clean besides the step on reverse. Maybe this topic should be moved to varieties and errors but I wanted a grade on it.

65, 66 at best, cool BIE. I don't believe it's a DDO but I only know about the small over large date. It looks like Machine Doubling to me but probably better to post in the error/varieties section.

Yes I realized that after I hit post topic but don't know how to move it. Sure wish a moderator would do that. What are you seeing Thad that would drop to 65? Seems like a good obverse? The big gash on the steps?

I can't say, being conservative because your light is blinding me and potentially hiding things. In general, I tend to be conservative because pictures are pictures and not coins.

I don't know if this one even reaches 65. Lots of glare. I'd think the ridge ring alone would hold it back, not to mention the gash on the steps. Nice BIE tho.

Doubling on date? Nope, that's just the design...how/why?.. I don't know, just normal...check others it's there. Or use the search box many have asked the same question.
I'm by no means a pro and will never claim to be...just my 2 cents

Definitely would like to see pics with less glare - and this applies to a many of your images shown over the past month.
