This one is graded MS66RD by NGC and is nicely toned for a red. I bought it because of the big die crack on the reverse and when I got it I noticed the retained interior die break. I looked to see if it was listed and this would be the earliest RIDB listed on COC. It also has some sort of strike through on the shoulder. Thanks for looking.

Nice one, looks close to being a shattered die.

I'd call that a retain die break. Although there is not enough metal missing to call it as break, it is retained by the die cracks. Since we don't call these a retained die crack, I guess it would be a retained die break. The area is retained. Interesting.

Lots going on with these dies! Compared to all those die cracks, it is hardly worth mentioning, but I think there might be a small die chip on the lower part of the left wheat stalk.

Thanks guys and Spence I swear ever time I looked at it I saw something else. That small odd chip was the last one.

Nice one Willburton! I always love seeing die cracks branch out like that.
