I'm not sure if this 1859 cent is the DP9#3 or not.
I can't remember if there is any markers or not.

the marker for #3 is repunched R in GRATIA which yours has so yes its #3

Thanks for replies it's a friend of mine that is on a holiday down south. He said he picked it up for $2. Lucky guy.

The D/C at 14 is also a good marker.

I should have mentioned there was a 1859 DP 9 #2 as well came from the same place.
