Loving my Tomlov.. Besides scanning and taking pictures I weigh everything thats new, check with a magnet, and use my coin pinger. Slowly learning much and my Tomlov is a big part of it. Plus I get much pleasure seeing my coins magnified and taking pictures of them. I do need to get away from auto-WB tho.

As a former videographer I should know better.

Also when using just the mic monitor, I can zoom in up to 16x. Not sure if I can get that image directly on my computer monitors yet. I think I can save it to the SD card and move it over but haven't tried that yet.

Yes you can. But for some odd reason its touchy when connecting to DVI input on yur monitor. You can save to the SD card and then transfer to your hard drive but by Its USB connect. Its displays at 1920 x 1080.

You should have seen it when I was videomaking. 3 full size computers, 4 monitors, DV players, electric gadgetry all over the place, 6 printers, 8 VHS recorders at one point, an S-VHS main base recorder, then a DVD dubber for making DVD dubs, 3 mini DV Canon XL2's camcorders, a sony mini-DV player. Editing software up the yin yang.

I wont even get into the additional video gear. I always thought I'd get back into it so I still have most of it. The camcorders and additional gear I'm going to put up for sale when I ever get around to it and buy gold and coins with the proceeds.

At one time my edit desk looked like an Apollo space craft. And all I ever did was break even with video making but I did love creating content. Its a huge investment however to make professional video. I always wanted to make a short, "short movie", and market/display it.

For a guy who started video making without even knowing how to turn on a PC I came far. I have a fanatics passion for things that interest me. Now its coin collecting and bullion buying. Age and infirmary slowed me down to a crawl but I have no regrets.

Ive traveled the world as a big game hunter, fisherman, USAF airman. Seen all of America. Was a Chicago and state cop for 37 years making innumerable pinches on the worst offenders, and lived life on the razors edge as well as the fullest. And now, in the 8'th inning of life, its coins.

The Lord has blessed me and I'll always be grateful.
