I haven't been here in a few months, other things have kept me busy and away, but last time I was here, when I clicked on a new post, I saw the new post about some coin as well as pictures of it. Today I'm seeing a half page of mostly naked bikini gals and a come on to let me know what Mormon women really want .......... as well as other less interesting crap. So what's going on?

Ads shown are typically based on the visitor's browsing history. Unless you're infected with some kind of adware.

That's sorta nonsense ............... I don't get half a page of Bikini gals swimwear other places, and What Mormon Women want is just click bait. But that's not the point, I don't remember this many ads, I don't care what kind of ads, I was trying to be humorous, just when I tried to reply to a post I had to look for the reply box among all the ads .............. that's new .............. so Bobby, have an answer for that?

I get adds as well, it's normal for me. Mine are generally business adds and I'm not a business owner lol. The easy fix for me was switch to full reply (I'm on mobile purely) so if this is a PC option k assume the same thing would happen.
When I switch to full reply the ads go away other wise some times an add takes up my message box and I can't read what I'm saying...that said I still don't proof read enough:p

There are ads at this site? I've been visiting CCF for years and I've never been bothered by one. Sure, they may be here, but I only pay attention to what I'm online for.
Trawling this site is much better than watching TV (4 minutes of a show, then 3 minutes of commercials). When I watch World News Tonight (ABC) I only watch the first 15 minutes of the 30 because the last 15 minutes are 11 minutes of commercials.

Yes, but I don't get naked girl ads. But I do get cat food ads. I nust not be living right. But as someone else said, I don't even notice them. I don't see why companies pay for these ads. I don't think I ever clicked on one intentionally - on any site.

I get rapidly-changing ads all day long, can't imagine how many. I do click once in awhile and have bought a few items from some of the sellers - most notably Orvis, a great outdoor clothing site that I was unaware of.

The only women I see here are the clad ones on the new Washington quarters. No bikinis there, although I'm still hoping that Anna Nicole Smith makes it onto the series. |
