For $2 I think you'd fine in the condition that's in.

I really just want a ms62 or higher for the album

a 1937 MS62 / 63 is going to be between $20-30 not $2 but $2 for an AU58 is good price

What? How? Why? I also evaluated PCGS photos and saw MS there. The tail, horns and beard of the buffalo look very good. There are small scratches on the Indian's cheek, but that's all.

Slerk, circulation is not determined by marks/abrasions and scratches alone. you are looking for areas on the high points of the coin where the luster has been removed as one of the markers.

on the obv there appears to be circulation wear on the highest point of the cheek bone right under the eye. also the highest point around the nostril. on the reverse there is more markers of the high points including the top of the hump, horn, torso and most apparent the front leg. add all of this to the red gung and the coin was circulated. maybe for a short time but still it was.
